So many men count themselves out when it comes to fertility issue in a family; they think that it is only the women that get involved in having issue of childlessness. It is a very! Very!! Wrong ideology because men too have equal fault just like the women, the only difference is that women show more concern and always are the first to think that they are the ones having issue and therefore unable to bear children.
There is this couple that has been married for about 8 years without any child, the woman has been running from one fertility clinic to another yet no fault was found in her reproductive system, but has remained unsatisfied. Believing that her husband is faultless because he has never followed her to any of the hospitals and that it must be her that the childlessness is coming from.  Even the way the husband and the family members speak to her, one will think that truly the fault is really hers
One day, the husband followed her to one of these fertility clinics to confirm if she has been actually going to these clinics and also to see for himself the results of the tests she claimed she had been doing in the hospital. It was there that the doctor in charge convinced him to run some tests like sperm analysis test. At first he refused and told the doctor that he is very fertile and had no problem. The doctor asked him how he knew he was fertile, and he said he always has a very long lasting erection, and that he can go several rounds with his wife without getting tired. And that before he got married several years ago, one of his girlfriends collected money from him for abortion and blah! Blah! Blah!!
Eventually he was convinced to do sperm analysis which he did, and to God be the glory or to devil be the shame, he has a very! Very! Low sperm count, as in very low, that was when he became aware that he is the one at fault.

·         If you are having fertility issue as a couple, the two of you should visit the fertility clinic together
·         Women, do not always be the first to conclude that you are the one at fault,
·         For Christ sake! Erection and long lasting is not the sperm that will fertilize the ovary of the woman. Whether you last for 5 seconds, 10 minutes or one hour, what matters and really counts is the quality of the sperm released ,is it fertile enough or is it just watery?  Our men please have your sperms checked regularly before crucifying your wives.
